Packing day =(
Today is the day I pack up all my stuff for college. In this short amount of time, I have to decide what things I feel I will need for a year. I dont know, but I feel extremely overwhelmed at the moment. I went school shopping yesterday with some friends and got some very nice purchases. Including $80 in underwear....hehe. Besides the usual pairs of pants and cute tops, I managed to buy myself something I think I will need going to an all girls catholic college...a vibrator. It's this way cute little bunny rabbit, oh yeah, and it's pink! And let me tell you...it gets the job done. Ne who, Kari, Britney, Megan, Kyle, Nick, and myself all had some good old fun last night at the figure 8 races. Nick and Britney got a little too close during that stupid movie and me and kari cried the whole way home. I can't believe she's gone. Oh well, we all plan on coming back for homecoming in October. Well I think I will get back to packing and all that jazz. See you guys later! -Anna Banana
First time blogger
Hey everyone! This is my official first blog ever. So, I guess I'd better make it good huh? I figured it'd be a neat way of keeping all my friends in tune with what I'm doing my first year of college. Yes, I will be a college freshman on August 29th. I am attending Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (It's an all girls catholic college). Ne who, I'm experiencing the normal emotions that go along with moving away to a bigger city. For those of you who don't know, I currently live in small town Iowa. It's an ittby bitty town no bigger than any other ghost town you may see in an old western. Yeah, you're right, it DOES suck. Big time. Therefore, I am destined to leave this hell hole and make something of myself. So in the next few days I am packing up all things and heading for bigger and better things. What am I going into you ask? English. I've never been able to balance a chemical equation, multiply numbers, but I can write. Weird huh? lol. Truth is, I've had some kick ass teachers and they've inspired me to become a teacher. Something about writing just clicks with me. I hope I do okay in college. I hope to forget everything about Iowa. It's not all that bad of a place, but Milwaukee should be so much better! So as I keep blabbing on and on, I should let you know about myself. I am 18, have lived in Iowa most of my life, and am really into everything. I'm not really one of those people who LOVES life, but I do to an extent lol. I mean, come on, imagine growing up in a 300 population town...you would be easily entertained too. I like movies, books, music (all kinds), and yes, I have a slight britney spears obession. However, it's nothing to be worried about. My favorite movies are Fight Club and Good Will Hunting. I'm always up for a good time. I like people with a sense of humor! I work at a nursing home...and I secretly love it. You learn so much about life and love and loss when you work with dying people. I dont want to sound corny, but it's super true. Ne who, I have to take some residents to a dance tonight so I had better start getting ready. Thanks so much for reading what I had to say today. I look foward to reading your blogs and comments. Thanks! -Anna
